We help people who have experienced workplace bias and economic barriers gain skills and certifications. Allowing them to gain agency and equity and take control of their career paths. There are many companies that want to hire a diverse workforce, but say that they can’t find experienced management candidates. This preserves the busted status quo. 

The pandemic has shown how these perfectly capable workers frequently carry a disproportionate burden at work and at home. If a single parent has to work and now homeschool, there is not a lot of time or energy left for professional development when the day is over. These scholarships will help them grow in their career, while not taking money out of their households to make it happen. Let’s fund this training so that we can fill those roles with phenomenal people while breaking cycles of discrimination and poverty.
